Dr. Afentoulis Langidis, holds a Ph.D degree in International Relations at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is an affiliated lecturer in the Department of International European Studies and Peripheral Studies at the Panteion University of Athens, and from 2013 to 2017 has been a regular lecturer of the Department of Turkish and Contemporary Oriental Studies of the University of Athens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From 1998 to 2001 Dr. Langidis was a research associate of the Crisis Management Committee within the Scientific Staff of the Minister of National Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is the co-author of the book “Post-Kemalism, Turkey in the 21st Century”. He has been the co-editor of the books: “Turkey in Transition,” “Turkey in the 21st Century”, “The Greek-Turkish Conflict 1955-1996”, “Greece and Turkey after the Cold War”, “Kosovo, the images of War – Contemporary views of militaristic humanism “.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He specializes in Middle East political systems and regimes, and Turkish internal and foreign policy, the political structure and issues relating to the political system of that country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
