We invite proposals for the 14th Annual Eurasian Peace Science Conference, to be held in person on 24-25 January 2026, at the Institute of International Relations (IDIS), Athens. The conference’s goals are to broaden cooperation and intellectual dialogue among Eurasian and global peace science scholars, and to bring together the most up-to-date and relevant research on peace and cooperation.

The deadline for paper submissions is 31 August 2025<\/strong>. Proposals submitted after that date will only be considered if presentation slots remain available. We will notify the successful participants by 30 September 2025.


Proposals addressing all aspects of peace science, conflict and cooperation are welcome, including:
(a) empirical studies of political violence and peaceful resolution;
(b) quantitative and formal analyses of conflict and peace processes;
(c) peace science methodology and theory, including qualitative approaches, as well as theories;
(d) alliances, investment, trade, and conflict;
(e) economic and political causes of international and domestic violence, encompassing war, ethnic conflict, terrorism, and criminal activity;
(f) contemporary regional conflicts, particularly in Eurasia and the Middle East;
(g) security and foreign policy;
(h) conflict analysis, management, and resolution;

Prospective participants are invited to submit an individual paper proposal that should include: a title, an abstract, and contact information, including e-mail, academic affiliation, and rank.
