This year, NATO is celebrating 75 years of existence. At the last Delphi Economic Forum we had the chance to mark the great occasion with a pithy discussion on the challenges faced by the organization in a changing geopolitical environment.
Chaired by Institute of International Relations – ΙΔΙΣ’s Executive Director Afentouli Despina, and following a introduction by former Minister of Defense and Head of the Greek Delegation to NATO MP Nikos Panagiotopoulos, a panel of experts, academics and distinguished NATO officials of past and present delved into what makes NATO still relevant today and how the organization is preparing to counter hybrid and modern threats.
The NATO 75th Anniversary Colloquium wrapped up with a thought-provoking discussion between the panel and a room full of representatives of Gen Z, handpicked by the Forum’s partners and network.
Shout-out of appreciation to the participants and to NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division for sponsoring the event.
