Angelos Angelou is a visiting fellow at the LSE’s European Institute and a teaching fellow at the University of Piraeus and the Neapolis University Pafos. He is also a post-doctoral researcher at the Global Policy Institute at Queen Mary University of London in the project ‘’ A Global Mapping of Vaccination Policies and the role of Experts”. He obtained his PhD from the LSE’s European Institute in 2020. His thesis examined the European Commission’s approach to sovereign debt restructuring during the early phases of the Eurozone crisis. His current research focuses on crisis-management by international and national public administrations, with emphasis on inter-crisis learning. Outside academia, Angelos has worked for the European External Action Service in the field of multilateral diplomacy.
