The Research Group focuses on the study of contemporary issues in international politics concerning the United States, the European Union, and NATO, as well as issues related to U.S. domestic politics, with particular emphasis on the political, institutional, and geostrategic developments shaping the international system.  Its activities combine both research and educational objectives, covering a broad range of topics, including U.S. foreign policy, transatlantic relations, European security, NATO strategy, international crises, political leadership in the United States, electoral processes, and the social and political transformations that shape contemporary American society.
